General Dentistry

We prefer prevention versus treatment.

And you probably do too, so let’s work together to keep your smile healthy & beautiful for life.

Oral Hygiene

We know you’ve heard it before, but it’s true—oral hygiene is the foundation for oral health. If your goal is to avoid major oral health problems like tooth decay, gum disease, and oral cancer (which it should be!), the best place to start is a solid oral hygiene routine. Make it a non-negotiable! First thing in the morning, and right before bed. You can do it!

Professional dental cleanings & exams

  • Our hygiene team is friendly and gentle for a pleasantly comfortable dental cleaning.
  • Tartar can solidify in as little as 24 hours, and only we have the tools to remove it.
  • Thorough examinations ensure we catch any small problems before they progress.

Maintaining a healthy smile is your responsibility, but we can help if you keep up with your regular dental visits every six months.

Gum Disease

Did you know gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults, and that it’s directly linked to other serious systemic diseases including Alzheimer’s, heart disease, diabetes, and many more. Did you know that MOST American adults have some level of gum disease already? Gum disease is serious business, and we’re serious about helping you prevent it, or treat it.

What can we do to treat gum disease?

  • First, you need to improve your oral hygiene routine with proper brushing technique, regular flossing, and an oral rinse that we can prescribe.
  • Next, we can provide scaling and root planing, which is basically a deep cleaning below the gum line.
  • Finally, we will want to see you more regularly for deep cleanings and gum disease maintenance.

85% of US adults have some form of gum disease. We need to stop gingivitis in its tracks before it turns into periodontitis and spreads to the rest of your body.

LANAP Protocol®

The LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) protocol is a patented gum disease treatment that requires no cutting or sutures. A less painful and more comfortable experience is typically reported during and after the procedure, in comparison with traditional periodontal surgery. Discover why thousands of people are opting for the LANAP Protocol, nonsurgical gum loss procedure.

Patient Benefits

  • Saves Teeth – Patients can keep their natural teeth while restoring the bone and tightening loose teeth, giving the ability to eat regular foods.
  • Faster Healing – Non-invasive procedure that allows the body to recover and heal faster.
  • Minimal Recovery Time – Most patients are able to return to their normal routines immediately after the procedure.
  • Little to No Gum Recession – Lessons recession risk and maintains smile without cutting the gums.
  • Safety – Procedure is safe for patients with health concerns such as diabetes, HIV and hemophilia.

A specific wavelength PerioLase®️ MVP-7TM dental laser is used in the LANAP®️ protocol to vaporize bacteria deep within gum pockets while leaving healthy tissue intact. Healing times are shorter, and results are more predictable with this type of treatment. Of course, gums need time to recover and heal, but patients can drive their car and get back to their lives directly after LANAP®️ treatment.

LAPIP™ Protocol

LAPIP (Laser-Assisted Peri-Implantitis Protocol) is a minimally-invasive approach that can help protect your implant investment. The LAPIP protocol utilizes the PerioLase®️ MVP-7TM dental laser to remove diseased gum tissue while preserving the healthy gum tissue. Discover how patients are saving their failing implants by eliminating gum infection and closing the periodontal pocket wound to allow healing while minimizing pain and discomfort.

Patient Benefits

  • Most Patients Need Just One Appointment
  • 100% Natural and Safe for Patients with Health Concerns
  • No Cutting, Stitches, or Bone Grafting
  • Less Pain, Bleeding and Swelling
  • Minimal Recovery Time
  • Add in the LAPIP graphic

Oral Cancer

Oral cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer because it is typically not detected until later stages. And while tobacco and alcohol consumption are still some of the leading risk factors, it’s actually HPV that now outweighs those two combined. It’s estimated that 80% of sexually active adults will contract HPV at some point in their lives, so regular oral cancer screenings are more important than ever.

Oral cancer statistics

  • An estimated 53,000 Americans will get oral cancer in 2019.
  • Approximated 10,860 of those Americans will die from it.
  • Oral cancer is twice as common in men as it is in women.

Less than 15% of dentists in America regularly screen their patients for oral cancer. We think this is an outrage. We screen every patient at every check-up.

Custom Nightguards

Most people clench and grind their teeth, at least periodically during times of stress. Others, however, do it chronically (bruxism), causing a domino effect of pain, tension, worn, and even cracked teeth. It can happen during the day, but we are more likely to actively stop when we’re awake. During sleep is another story. Gnashing your teeth together night after night can cause serious damage.

Custom vs stock nightguards

  • Custom fit redistributes bite forces, putting pressure in the right places.
  • Custom fit is more comfortable to wear than stock guards.
  • We can make micro adjustments accordingly until we get things just right for you.

A custom nightguard can help you wake up without headaches, while protecting your teeth from further damage.

valuable asset.

Yes, we’re talking about your natural smile! Don’t take it for granted, some day it may be too late to appreciate it. Get in touch with us and we can fit you for a custom nightguard today!

Benefits of tooth extraction

  • Extracting a tooth may stop tooth decay or infection from spreading.
